Jaguar boasts that the P200 petrol gives 0-60mph in 8.0secs, whereas the more powerful P300 reaches 0-60mph in 6.6sec and feels pretty quick. However, if performance is not your priority, then have a look at the entry-level diesel, it's much stronger but will be nippy enough around town and performs well on the motorway too.
The P300e plug-in hybrids are the fastest and most powerful in the used Jaguar E-Pace range. It combines a 1.5-litre petrol engine with an electric motor and battery pack to give an impressive 6.5sec 0-62mph and a decent pure electric range of up to 34 miles.
