The Chinese marque’s electrified range of cars offers a new dimension of motoring, and two of its most popular models have made their way onto the Motability Scheme.
With Motability and BYD, you can get a comprehensive motoring package that includes a brand-new car, insurance, servicing and more.
There are also dozens of cost-free adaptations that can be added to your Motability car to make life easier when on the go.
BYD Motability Cars
On the Motability Scheme, BYD currently offers its Dolphin hatchback and Atto 3 SUV.
The former is a highly competent hatch with plenty of standard spec and is great for those who need to get about town easily.
Meanwhile, the Atto 3 is a compact but capable SUV that again has a whole host of equipment as standard but with a bit more room on board, and so is better for those who need storage space or a bigger cabin as a whole.
BYD and Motability offer several versions of these models for you to choose from, with different trims varying trim benefits and battery options.

BYD Motability Offers
On all BYD cars available on Motability, you’ll find Advance Payment pricing for those who receive Personal Independence Payment (PIP) and also those in receipt of War Pension (WP) payments.
For anyone receiving other Motability-eligible payments, please get in touch and we’ll be able to supply separate Advance Payment pricing.
Remember that leasing any BYD car through the Motability Scheme gives you all of the following: a brand-new car; insurance; servicing; tyre repair & replacement; RAC breakdown cover; and windscreen repair.
Additionally, if a BYD EV is your first car on the Scheme, then you’ll be able to benefit from a free 7kW home charger (costs may need to be covered for any non-standard installation). For those not able to have a charger installed, you’ll be offered access to the BP Pulse network.
