What’s more, his real-time feature of FordPass Connect is complementary for the first two years of use.
Wi-Fi hotspot on FordPass Connect
Save those valuable gigabytes of mobile data with FordPass Connect's Wi-Fi hotspot. In partnership with Vodaphone, you can enjoy speeds of up to 4G LTE ††in the cabin of your Ford, with a maximum of 10 devices able to connect to the hotstop.
FordPass Connect offers three months of 3GB of complimentary data; after which, you can purchase data bundles for a day, month or a year to keep your passengers entertained.
Got a new Ford with an automatic transmission? With the FordPass app you can use your phone to start your car’s engine before you’ve even got in it.
As a result, you’ll benefit from being able to de-ice your car and get it warm for when you’re ready to go. With the doors locked until you’ve approached the car with the key, you can be sure that your Ford stays secure.

Parking in an unfamiliar location or car park can often disorientate us, so much so we might forget where we left our car. With FordPass, that becomes a thing of the past, as the map in the app will tell you exactly where your car is parked.
Wondering about your car’s fuel levels, tyre pressures or mileage? The FordPass’ Vehicle Status feature allows you to check just that.
Through the FordPass app you can receive various Vehicle Health Alerts to tell you whether the likes of your oil needs changing, a lightbulb has failed or if your engine is overheating. Whatever the issue, the app will recommend a course of action to find a solution.

App Instructions
- Once the app has downloaded open the app
- If you already have a FordPass account, enter your login credentials
- If you don’t have an account, click ‘register’
- Complete the form by entering your basic information
- Add a PIN number allowing the app to be safe and secure (iPhone users can select to use Touch ID)
- Once this has been completed your FordPass app should be ready to use
