Representing the next-generation, the ground-breaking e‑SKYACTIV-X petrol engine combines the revving qualities of the petrol engine with the performance, fuel efficiency and torque of a diesel engine. The Mazda3 and Mazda CX-30 which include e-SKYACTIVE-X, also come with Mazda M Hybrid technology which uses energy collected during deceleration to power onboard electrical equipment, which makes for a smoother ride and helps to improve fuel economy. 

SKYACTIV-G petrol engines emit relatively few hazardous pollutants and are more efficient and powerful.

Whereas, the Mazda SKYACTIV-D are modern and efficient diesel engines with an improved response and noise behaviour in addition to lowering emissions.
