Fiat began its journey into economical hybrid vehicles by offering hybrid and electric versions of its most popular model, the Fiat 500.

The Fiat Panda as well as the Fiat 500, 500C and 500X are all available as mild hybrids offering increased efficiency and economy of these super city cars. 

Under the bonnet of mild hybrid Fiat models, you'll find a petrol engine, which works with a small battery-powered electric motor which stores energy from braking and coasting before feeding it back into the driveline.
