MAXUS has been named Electric Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year at this year’s GreenFleet Awards, which took place at the British Motor Museum in Warwick early this December.
After recently welcoming MAXUS to Stoneacre Vanworld in Chesterfield, this is an exceptional achievement for the van manufacturers.
Mark Barrett, General Manager of Harris MAXUS, commented on the awards, “It has been an extremely busy and rewarding year at Harris MAXUS, in which we have seen sales increase by 400% over the past 12 months.
“Not only that, but we have also expanded our dealership network and developed and fitted new telematics software to all MAXUS vehicles as standard. We are extremely proud of what we have achieved in 2021, and winning Electric Vehicle Manufacturer of the Year is the icing on top of the cake.
“At MAXUS, we strive to go the extra mile for our customers, and we would like to thank the judges of the GreenFleet Awards for recognising and valuing what we do.”
On the night, MAXUS was commended in the LCV Manufacturer of the Year and IT Innovation Award categories. Meanwhile, the MAXUS e DELIVER 9 was also commended in the GreenFleet Vehicle of the Year category.
When it comes to the electric vehicle market, MAXUS (formerly LDV) has, since 2016, been considered a trailblazer for vans. Leading the change to greener motoring, they have since introduced a range of commercial EVs that help companies future-proof their fleets, whatever their light transport requirements.
Distributed by Harris Maxus UC across markets in Europe, MAXUS vans have quickly become a popular choice for business owners and fleet managers across the UK, encouraging the switching to electric Light Commercial Vehicles. This has been proven by the fact that over 54% of MAXUS sales so far this year have been electric, and the brand is projecting a 400% increase in sales by the end of 2021.
The range, reliability, versatility and value for money of MAXUS’ EV LCVs is key to their popularity, notably by the MAXUS e Deliver 9. But equally as important is the brand’s focus on customer service and the support customers get from the MAXUS dealership to help them navigate the switch to electric driving.
Additionally, after-sale care is also important to MAXUS and each vehicle comes with a five-year services commitment, providing drivers with complete peace of mind. The five-year services commitment includes a five-year warranty and five-year roadside assist as standard. Drivers are covered 24/7, 365 days a year, with dealer workshops operating a 24-hour service, helping to minimise vehicle downtime.
MAXUS e DELIVER 9 illustrates MAXUS’ focus on innovation, customisation, and greener motoring. Everything about this van is of superior quality. Available in two size options, this van offers a superb range, clocking up to 219 miles on a single charge and operating with a high power 150KW low energy motor. The all-new platform vehicle offers three battery options – 51.5 Kwh, 72 Kwh and 88.55 Kwh (LH) – with various battery cooling methods, which reduce charging time (DC 45mins 5%-80%), as well as extending battery life and increasing the operating range.
